About The Barking Dog Theatre Company

Formed in 1987 in Barking, Essex, The Barking Dog Theatre Company produces shows specificallywritten and designed for children (And their families).

 

Over the last thirty five years we have produced dozens of shows which we have performed to thousands

of children and families.

 

So far we have toured to schools and theatres in mainly in England and Ireland

but also in Wales, Scotland and Russia.

Venues include;- Colchester Arts Centre, The Jersey Opera House Studio, The Marketplace Theatre Studio, Armagh, and The Dugdale Centre, Enfield, London.We bring everything we need to put on a great show;- two talented actors (both have DBS certificates), a small set, lovely costumes, puppets and often a musical instrument or two.Our show are entertaining, exciting, informative and educational.

 

Our shows are suitable for end of term, book week or to enliven a particular project.
