Cinderella & The Silly Sisters
A panto for all ages
Cinderella is picked on by her two silly step sisters. There seems no escape but Cinderella dreams of a better life if she could marry a handsome prince who'd take her away from it all.
The postman, Buttons wishes he could be the man to save Cinderella but she doesn't see him that way, he's a best friend not a partner.
When the Prince holds a royal ball to look for a potential wife, the sisters and Cinderella are all excited. The Sisters do their best to prevent Cinderella from attending. The, magically, Fairy Godmother appears and, with some help from the audience, helps Cinderella. "You shall go to the ball..."
The two actors use puppets, audience participation, lots of action and songs so that children of all ages can join inwith all the time-honoured pantomime traditions. The actors can perform two different versions of this show, One for the nursery age range (3 - 6) and another more general version.
Barking Dog have been performing Children's shows since 1987 and first performed our pantos over twenty years ago.
